A Family Business

Committed Software, LLC is a private, family run business.

We take pride in all aspects of our business and welcome any and all of your feedback on our ability to serve you.

We have been faithfully serving the 4D Community for over 10 years.

History

Committed Software began a California Sole Proprietorship (DBA), in January, 1992

The company was formed as a consulting entity for performing periodic recovery of damaged 4D data and structure files. Our first Invoice was to "Recover 56 Global Procedures and 62 Scripts" for a database at C.E.R.N. (Switzerland).

In October 1993, we approached our good friends at The Automation Group (Redwood City/Oakland) with the concept of writing a product to automate much of the process that was being done by hand. At the time, Paul Carnine (author), was employed by The Automation Group. David Beaver, owner of The Automation Group, decided not to pursue SanityCheck development and sales yet kindly allowed Paul to work on the project during non-working hours.

We shipped our first product, SanityCheck v1.0 in March of 1994.

Dennis Carnine

President
Dennis worked as lead system designer and vice president of Theater Techniques Inc., which produced dimming systems for theaters.

These days, in addition to keeping Committed Software alive and running, he plays trombone in a big band that does dance-jobs around southern CT.

Paul Carnine

Code Wrangler
Since 2001 Paul spends a lot of his time in Southern France (near Toulouse) with his wife Julia and daughter Amelia.

If you are ever in the area and are looking for a great restaurant, our very good friends have opened a wonderful restaurant Les Consuls, in the countryside near Gaillac. It's worth the trip!
